Mine is very logical, yet based on faith and mythology - and original to boot! There is a way to figure out how I got my name, I just won't tell you. :D
I have searched long and hard for an original name I liked... I toyed with "Siegeull" for awhile. I still like that one. It being a play on words and all. I thought of it after reading Jonathan Seagull. EXCELLENT BOOK! Read it! Go ahead and burrow/steal it from your friend if need be. Just read it. It's a fairly short book, so don't worry about having to endure a long novel.
If any of you others are interested in spilling more info about your names, I'd love to hear it. :)

How did you get that nickname??
And mine is simply an acronym of 3 letters in my name (Dannik Dubois) no it is not from some old RPG or some band i've never heard of. :)
MrVicchio

When I first started playng CS WAY back in the earl beta days, I looked around at all the 1337 5n1p3r5 out there and decided I wanted something with more class and originality... So I thought about using my last name... but see I wanted into clan [ReTrY], and well [ReTrY]Mr.Rogers would just get laughed off the server... so I went with my middle name. [ReTrY]Mr.Vicchio is just sooo much cooler. So I stuck with it.

A looong time ago. I think I was 9 or something, me and my friends decided to make nicknames. My friend wanted to be Sphinx and so I decided to have something that rhymed with it. There, I got the name Jinx. I don't remember exactly when/why I added Masta to the end but I just did! So I got Jinxmasta! I've had this name for a looong time even though it definitely isn't my nickname anymore :D
Doobz

the first thing that i thought of when coming up with an online name a long time ago was "reefer" which went to "doobie" to the current "Doobz"
Tolvy
2002-12-14, 10:30 PM
A while ago, I typed some random letters to think up a game name. I added some vowels and it came out as "Tolnivar". I switched the n and the v to get "Tolvinar". My gaming friends didnt want to type Tolvinar everytime they talked to me, so they used a nicknames "Tolvy" and "Big T". There you have it.
To get BLOOD THIRSTY I took the initials of "Big T" which are {BT}. I though up some other name with the same letters. BLOOD THIRSTY was the first thing that came to mind.
I also go by the names "Vektore" and "Zule" alot. Don't remember how I got those names (and I made up Zule before I saw Ghost Busters)

Mine comes from an acronym I made up while trying to make an original name when signing up to a few forums. The acronym comes from a common spelling mistake with my first name(Cristian). Nohimn stands for NO H In My Name.
Sandtaco

There's sand... and then there's a taco... hence the name :p
Strygun

I actually just thought mine up one day. (Seriously! I'd never heard of the stryker on MK3). It started as SilverStryker, then went to Stryker.
Although, since Kevin McCann uses the same name, I'll probably have to change in PS. :tear:

Mine is from a couple of different views! The NightHawk is a cool looking stealth bomber, and the other is I stay up pretty late/early, and have eyes like a hawk.:groovy:

Lt AntiSmile
2002-12-16, 01:55 AM
One day at school i was sitting a drawing and i drew a smily face and put it inside a Universal-no sign and thought up "Anti-smile"
I added the "Lt." cause 1) its the coolest sounding rank. 2) i want to show my support of the frontersmen of N.s.
and thats my story.
Btw, whats with the pic?
Incompetent
2002-12-16, 02:34 AM
When i first bought T2 i had never played any other online games before, so i did what anyone else would do, i assumed i would suck. So i went with Incompetent hoping that people would shoot the guy next to me first. I also got a few out of random name generators that im not going to post (i fear name thieves, its happened to me before.)

T2 was also my first real online game, I had messed around before. But T2 is what got me into it, on a team.. etc

Flashingfish

It used to be Flashingfishcoffeecup boy, but I shortened it, I just came up with a name and stuck to it.
And no you sickos, it's not the flashing you think
Airlift
2002-12-16, 04:11 PM
My parents named me Airlift ;)
Actually, it was because my first interest in the game is driving a tank.
Except that by tank, I mean dropship.
xuur = just a name I made up for a game I played over a decade ago. it just sorta stuck with me since then.

Blue Zero is a combination of two things: Blue- It's a color :D and Zero- that pesky number before 1 that everyone usually forgets. Why I mixed them together is beyond me but it sounded good so I stuck with it. I actually think I was playing Armored Core 2 at the time I made the name. :rawr:
