What happens when a TR MAX uses his clamping ability whilst standing on a galaxy wing

I'm sure there are some surfaces you can't clamp to. Like a wing. :) Probably trees also, stuff like that.

It'll be funny if they could though. I don't think it would be that much of an advantage either as each Max has a 60 degree turn only whilst clamping one could easily take them down with a mosquito(from above) or a long range weapon like the sniper or Fly-by-wire rocket launcher.

Well that's a lot of IFs there.

IF a MAX can indeed bail out of a flying galaxy.

IF said MAX is lucky enough to bail out and land on another galaxy.

IF a MAX can clamp onto the galaxy.

It does give me a good idea though. As a VS MAX if i need to get somewhere i just hop on one of my squads tanks or APCs and grab on.(assuming they don't go 120km/h) :D

Yeah but like i said assuming they aren't zooming away, for an APC it would be hard but a tank (i hope) doesn't go that fast so i'm guessing it could be possible to hang on much like in GTA3 you can hop onto a car and let yourself get driven around. :)

Also if the vehicle is only go forward just find a spot where you can't fall off, like on a tank you just have to get in front of the turret, the turret will keep you on the tank as long as he doesn't turn too much. :)

Yeah but as you said the tank still has more mobilty. and besides it's just for the fun/cool factor, it doesn't server any purpose other than that. :D

This also sets up another possible tactic: Light/agile armors jumping down on tanks/apcs and setting up mines on top of them.

hehe that would be kinda cool... standing on a galaxy wing and jumping off over a base ala BF1942 style that you can do whit the bomber plane =)

That would be cool to have a specially trained squad that jumps off Galaxies and land on vehicles to blow them up :D

hehe...try to clamp on a 747 or something...the fuel is in the wings...ok no fuel in PS but maybe its holding the ammo...not?...uhm...ok.
