I don't mean this to sound like a n00b question, but I just haven't read anything about this, I have been busy. Is there going to be a crouch or prone mode that will increase accuracy or do you have to stay standing up while sniping.
I have two more questions about sniping, is the sniper rifle going to make a tremendous noise like the arctic warfare magnum off counter-strike and is it going to have a white line like in Halo that will expose the position of the sniper.
My sniping style won't work as well if people can see where I am after one shot. ---> me :sniper: ------------- :furious: <---- MAX armor after he sees that little white line and spots me.

Do you know if crouch increases sniping accuracy?
pretty sure crouching decreases your aiming cone (so yes)

I was wondering if there is an advantage to leaving space open in your inventory such as a speed boost or increased vertical, does anyone know of any information concering this?
:sniper: :O_O:

Most definatly, crouching increases your accuracy.
There is NO prone

Yeah i hope they include that factor, it would add so much more depth and planing to PS. You wouldn't automatically include all kinds of stuff you probably won't need in your MAX just because you can fit it in there. :)

I was hoping for prone too but I know it will only be stand and crouch. I really like to go prone but oh well. Crouch will have to do.

All I know is that snipers succeed by being able to position themselves, get the kill, evade, relocate and repeat... For me speed means everything, I am a wide reciever and I know how valueable a little speed advantage is. I want to crouch down, take the shot and hustle back to my mosquito as fast as I can. The faster I can do that the better it is and I would be willing to put the bare minimum in my inventory for a litte extra speed.

wish there was prone =p would reduce your silhouette on the surroundings when sniping, but crouching by plantlife and such should hopefully work =p

I'm sure there will be plenty to use for cover, if not, then it is equal, as the opposition won't have any either. I'm sure everyone will improvise!!

I created a monster with the sniper posts. My bad, that wasn't my intention to bring up the sniper conflict. I was just curious.
