You know, it sucks to have other people downloading the beta patches, as they add on to your download time.

However, if there are none, then you're alone in Planetside.

Thats an easy fix: Just have one patch server per beta tester. :D

Ok patch download time spiked from 25min to 50min. They must have opened up a set of new servers or something.

Not sure why the everyons download time is so long. Its taken me 40 mins to download and i havnt spiked at all. I live in Arizona and i just have the run of the mill cox cable.

Think on the bright side, if you are the only one in the game, you can continent lock the whole game for your empire really easily!

Yeah...but it's BORING! Heck I don't care if you can make it to the TR, NC, or VS Sanctuaries (sp?) if there's no one there....you don't have fun maiming, melting, or spraying people with lead!

yeah my download was originaly supposed to be done at 10:30 now it's not going to be done untill 10:45, but in the last 10 minutes it's been going down so hopefully about 15 mins it'll be done

My patch was suppose to take an hour and a half, so no biggie.

:lol: i just gave up for tonight, it died for the 9th time, and is still on hte 1st file, so I will just deal wit hit in the morning... oh well
