heard? ok, about a 45 minute battle over at the biolab station in Cyssor. (gona repeat the story again since this guy didn't hear it) My friend and his squad (TR) went to hack the lab with very little defence (vanu had the base). Once they hacked the base, about 5 min. later 100ie or so vanu poured outa the warpgate south of the lab and most turned turn to the lab. The battle waged on the bidge to the wouth, and later to the north. Luckly NC were coming from the north so vanu had some guys up there ot play with. The bridges where barracaded with hulls, leaving no rout in or out of the lab. Soon, the NTU tanks went on fuems and went out, the base went nutral. After most the hulls dissapeared, both vanu and nc pushed till the got onto the landmass where the lab stood. all hell broke out. Hackers and MAXs pushed all the way down to the controll room, NC and vanu ANTs were pulling inside the walls, hope was lost. Untill finally several galaxys, reavers, and mosquitos where in the skys, along with tanks on teh ground. The galaxys just flew over head waiting for the tanks to pull right on into the base. Luckly they did, the galaxys droped the ANTs and soldiers. The base was back in TRs control in mere seconds. Base defences where brought back to life which held the base up and again push back to the briges and then to the warpgate and the second bridge to the north. The ground was safe, and very little air forces were in the air. The base was claimed safe". For another 25 minutes till the vanu took it away.

Sounds cheesy, why didn't they head over to where another huge battle was waging? Well......ask him......I only do as what I'm told.

HOLY CRAP

i was just in the most awesome battle. TR was attempting to take a bio lab on ishandur (wasn't it?) after fighting for like 15 minutes to take a tower from the vanu. we then launched an attack on the bio lab which was under vanu control, so EVERYONE charged, it was nuts. we eventually took a side route into the base and fought on the stairs near the cyrogenic tanks, and then we moved onto the CC where there were already people there. then some dude detonated a boomer and blew up 3 people and a vanu infil was running around killing people with his knife without them noticing whatsoever, and I couldn't even see him, and i heard some people with darklight couldn't even see him

yeah anyways

My squad (NC) decided we wanted to break the TR lock on Forseral after lagging it up on Esamir for a while. So we all recalled to Sanctuary, got a galaxy (with me in a reaver as escort), and flew through Amerish (which we had locked down), then another continent, and then through this Warpgate at the north of Forseral. We owned the facility on the other side of the warpgate, so we could hack one facility on Forseral. I, in my infinite ignorance, chased a TR tank, and while I was killing it our Galaxy took fire from an enemy reaver. The squad was forced to bail over a tower farther to the north of the interlink facility than we expected. So, we were forced to fight in this tower against a whole continent of TR, with our combat engineer constantly placing spitfires and mines, which killed many TR, and our squad making attempts at flanking the enemy. Finally, our hacker secured a tower next to the base, and we spawned there so we could hack the base. The fight for this base lasted 2-3 hours, and involved a couple hundred people. It was an amazing fight; the outdoor battle was just so much fun. Firing at TR who are ducking behind hills 15o meters away while I hide behind a tree intermitantly was great. Forcing our way from the tower to the other tower, which failed several times, was intense, as we divided the squad into an offensive and defensive half. The attack felt desperate, and exciting.

Wow, that's really bad writing, but it's late, and I'm tired, so I wont' revise. Let me just say the lattice system rocks, and I'm srue this giant battle is still occuring on that TR continent as we speak;)

to make a long story very very short, I just got back form a battle that was across Cyssor, ranging from the Gunuku dropship center, both of its towers was a huge line of people... then it was pushed forward by the greatness of the NC to a huge line streaching from the itan biolab to the Kaang amp station... finally, it twisted itself into a huge triangle of mess for the last hour and a half involving all of the above, esp the towers (those had some insane numbers of people at some time, prob 60-60 easy at times) *The entire time the Nzame Amp station was under attack, but my squad was never able to push far enough to help them...

Fun, yes, but with the new system, you can see that after 4+ hours of fighting, in the end we were still fighitng for the same 3-4 spots on the map with the rest of it nothing going on... thats the wonders of the new system for ya....

There was a kick arse battle for Rikidu or something like that last night. The matrix system did its job and we got funnelled into a major TR attack on one of our owned bases. They got it, then we forced them out, then they forced us back etc. Anyway thought id take some quick screenies - not very good as I havent yet got the hang of it and I havent had time to crop em yet as the birds dragging me out the door - theyre big as well, but itll give you a rough idea.

1. Holding the Wall - Steady lads, wait till ya see the whites of their eyes.

2. Chasing the dragon - errr get back to the wall.

http://www.sleepless.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/p4.JPG

3. Lost the base and an ams (?) set up by the wall. This is just a fraction of the 50 or so VS attacking the base. Now get outta the way I need mah armour.

4. And off they go again.

The pics dont do justice to the scale of the battle. We had at one point about 60 VS defenders and there were enough TR there to overrun us. It was kick arse.
