Everything is choppy as the title says. Now my specs are good enough

p4 1900
64 mb geforce 3ti500
512 ram

But everything is still choppy. Its not the specs, anyone have any ideas how to help me? I have defragged, but havent virus checked. I might have to reinstall windows.

The specs aren't really that great... Your graphics card is a bottleneck in that system and you would see a big increase if you upgraded. GF3s are nothing new. :)

When they release the "Minimum Specs", they release specs that will RUN the game, they don't mean that it will run well, or that you'll have fun at all. :p

^ agreed, I'd say your P4 @ 1900 is a little lacking in punch as well, the Intel's aren't very good at low clock speeds, and may actually be holding you back above your gfx card.

*cough* This may be true, but read into the fact he said FLASH GAMES are choppy. Last time I checked, they didn't take all that much to run...

Is there anything more you can tell us about the situation? Has it always been like this? If it changed, was there any other system changes you could see linking to it? Are there any other problems with your computer?

First thing I would do is scan for viruses. Next thing would be heat. Make sure your fans/heatsinks are clean and working. Dust can do some wierd things to computers also.
Check your hard drive space.
Do any other applications run choppy? Try playing a CD through Windows Media Player with the goofey graphics thing or something similar.
Try re-installing/updating your drivers and patches.
