To buy your way into beta or not

For $6.50 or something you can buy a month's membership to premium fileplanet, and download the Planetside beta. But at this point, is it really worth it? Launch is only 20 days away, and although yes you could get to experience the "new feel" of the game but right now its mostly buggy and crashes alot. Also, any progress you make with your character will be deleted before the final launch, so it will be repetetive for you to finally have to start anew, and not as fun to be stuck down at a lower level again.

I'm very tempted. I wanted to play it b/c I think the UK release will be delayed.

As a tournament-mate said, though, once the game is released in the US the beta stops.

So that scuppers me, then. :(

i dont think im going to
