Going LD

I need some help. Im just about to quit this game, even though its the best game ive played in years. The game runs perfectly for about 15mins and then i go ld. This happens ever 15mins, its disgusting. I have tried running the full scan and everything, I need help!

obviously you didn't try reading the patch notes where it says: we are aware of the memory leak bug wich makes you crash every so often. We are working hard to fix it.

Interesting. A friend of mine has been playing for 2 days now and has not gone LD nearly as much as me and a few people I know. Sure it's a bug and not a virus? :p

LD = Line dead (or link dead). It's when your connection to the server stops, whether it be from timeout's or whatever. It's quite annoying, especially when it happens in 15 minute intervals.

Anyway, this could be a router or firewall issue. When I first got my linksys it would disconnect me every 10-20 minutes. "You have left the world" or i would just run around being unable to reload. (a tell tail sign of being LD)

There is a thread on the beta forums regarding routers and PS. If you arent running a router or firewall, close all the programs you have running in the background when you run PS. This includes virus scanning sw

Eliminate all other possibilities before assuming it is a memory leak. :D
