The backpacks make much more sence, and look much better (esp with 900 of them laying around after a big fight)

I like the fact that the backpacks are smaller, but I agree with FraBaktos, they look really goofy. They should have had everybody turn into little urns or something.

I liked coffins better. After a battle you look around saying "wow, lots of people died here." Now its looks like an abandoned cub scout camp. They should make them more like a rucksack then a school bag.

I think it'd look way better if the backpacks were all a very neutral color - with one swatch to indicate faction.

That way, I don't have to see a bunch of envouge kiddie packs lying around, all purple, yellow, red and blue.

I like the tombstones idea. Maybe a tombstone with a rucksack at the base of it, gives a more somber idea. Doesn't necessarily have to be a cross, could make something nifty and empire specific.

At first I thought the coffins were to cut back on FPS wastage, but these backpacks look like they have quite a few polys. Still not as bad as leaving the bodies.

I would LOVE for them to leave the bodies because that would look awesome to have 100+ bodies lying on eachother, but its not gonna happen because you would get like -10FPS :-\.

coffins appearing out of nowhere seemed.. odd. Tombstones are soo daoc. and tombstones inside wouldnt exactly fit. Backpacks seem most logical to me, Make a pack with less polys thats smaller though
