Yeah, it syas your bandwidth is done for the day, and I only made it through a few screenies.
I have been to your DAoC gallery before, but didn't realize you were the same guy till that one post. I take a lot of screenies in DAoC, but the only ones I have taken so far in PS have been by accident.
Whenever there is something on the screen that would make a great shot in PS, I am always too busy with what is going on to look for the screeny key, or even think about the screeny key. {8^))
For example:
While playing my NC stealth adv. hacker on Markov the other day, I had driven my wraith through the warp onto Oshur (was thinking it was Ishundar but checked the continent maps again. all the desert places loks the same.), and didn't realize that warping had turned off my cloak. Not that there is much difficulty in spotting a cloaked wraith at top speed, but I was totally out in the open without realizing it.
I was roaring along down a road, approaching an intersection when I came under fire. There was a sand dune on the right side, and then another road leading into the intersection just on the other side of the dune.
I was taking fore from the left, so I turned right at top speed and ramped the sand dune.
As I flew over the top of the dune, I saw a VS Sunderer approaching the intersection on the other road. It was right in front of me, but the dune had given me enough elevation on my jump that I just cleared the top of the Sunderer. That was kinda cool, but what made it really wild was that, at that very same moment, a friendly Reaver was diving on the Sunderer in a strafing run. Not only did I just make it over the top of the Sunderer, I just missed the bottom of the Reaver as I jumped through the little space between the two.
It is the wildest thing that has happened to me in the game yet, and I was too busy freaking out to even think of a screen shot. It happened so fast, it was over before I could have even reached for the key anyway. {8^))
Some of the best screenies would be from some of the hot combat drops I have made onto the roofs of enemy bases with loads of people and turrets and vehicles all over the screen and waves of fire flashing back and forth everywhere as you drop into the midst of the maelstrom. I'm just always too busy dropping into the midst of the maelstrom to think about screenshots. {8^D
You always take great screenies, so I am looking forward to your PS gallery once it is all set up. {8^)
BTW, I think it's hillarious that you snuck up behind that guy when you weren't stealthed or anything. I have killed a lot of snipers using my cloak suit to get behind them and the Scatterpistol at point-blank range, but sneaking up on somebody with no sneak on is just fabulous! {8^D
