Logo Contest Part Deux

Ok, I know its been some time since there has been any word on this, my apologies for that. But we have been extremly busy here around PSU. With that out of the way, let me cut to the chase.

Below are some logo's that are "in the right direction" for what we would like here at PSU. We dont want duplicates, or advanced versions of these. But this is more of an idea how we want things.

These logo's all have very original looks and feels to them. Which is what we want, something very original. All previous contenders are allowed to enter again if they want, I will leave this contest open for 1 week.

Also, here are the details of the contest:
PSU is looking for a new logo! So, in an attempt to find one we are having a contest. To apply all you need to do is be a member of our forums and create a Planetside Universe logo. What's in it for you? if your logo is picked, you will win a Custom Forum Title, and a Planetside-Universe.com Sweatshirt or T-Shirt. Winners will be narrowed down and decided on by the PSU staff. (PSU staff are excluded from the contest)

This logo will be used for a variety of things here at PSU. Including the watermark for our screenshots and some other features we have yet to announce. There are no limitations on the size of the logo at this time, as we can resize it and tweak it to fit our needs. Please include what program you created it with when you post the image.

Just post your submission below, spam will be removed from this thread.

thx blade; good submissions all :) ...feign im diggin the bottom left one too. i like it black and white; i'd like it better without the bitmap characters of the empire guys; mebbe make the orbital arc around ure warpgate a color; just ideas tho...looks good in b&w...

This is my first, which helped me do the one below. The only thing is this one is a bit more appropriate for a logo since it's simpler, but I had to keep going cuz I liked the idea.

This first one is for Plastic, who wanted an eclipse...I'm still submitting this one but I feel it's a little to complex for a logo, but I really think it's still pretty cool.

yeah, I like negative space just like everyone else, I just like filling letter counters with objects/silhouettes and such. Plus, I used a common pool weapon to try to keep things objective.

Honestly I'm up against some stiff competition, I really like all the stuff I'm seeing from everyone else. Just trying to contribute and hone my skills. Peace.[IMG]

Okay, hands down dv_lizard wins this contest :)

He is doing exactly what is needed and has obviously shown he could work up / adapt anything to the staff's specs. The photoshop madness isn't good for a "logo" guys.

I would say which of his is my favorite, but I love all of them... Interlink dish fits perfectly with the theme.. AGN and stuff.

Guys <em>please</em> keep in mind that simpler = better! The same logo should be able to be used in all different places (clothing, website, forums, watermark for screenshots, etc). :)
