Why all the Vanu hate?

I've read a few threads on here today and most insults/death wishes etc seem to be directed toward VS. I don't get it, whats with all the Vanu hate?

the jibing here seems pretty balanced to me. though i have no idea what its like on any official forums. i quit the regular ones cuz i spend so much time playing and using the beta forums. and the beta forums are all "this game sucks im sueing sony"

I don't even go in to vanu battles anymore. The TR vs NC battles are much more fun and balanced IMO.

The vanu battles just end up being frustrating. It's not easy shooting down a lagging/flying vanu.

Just because our MAX's are good, doesn't mean anything.

Lots of beta noobs are joining Vanu now, so we have the zerg behind us, but damn VS weps are woefully underpowered, in most cases(disclaimer~)

Purple is better than being yellow bees with a sign saying "Shoot me now" above their heads. Or being with the terrans, who are full of n00bz who joined them just because they like the colors.

Vanu have the BEST armor by far, the BEST weapons by far, and OWN YOU ALL. We have so much ownage we own ourselves... visit our sanc sometime and you'll see :(

I have to admit, I found he Vanu really tough nuts to crack compared to the NC

For me it has depended on what I'm going against. NC MAXs are tuff, but so are terrans with chainguns. It's all moot if I'm in my reaver. KAMIANGELZIE!

I don't know, when I first saw them I said(I will stick with NC and TR, and not these alien like VS) so I didn't like them too much, but now I think they're pretty cool!

Personally, I think its GOOD that theres rivalry between the empires. It stimulates that drive you have in game to be the best, and to kick the enemies ass utterly. FAN THE FLAMES OF HATRED! VIVA LA GUERRE!

ps: the real reason is, the Vanu rule, and everyone else has penis envy. :cool:

It's not the size that matters, its how you use it... and in the Vanu's case, they use it pretty poorly as a counterweight for their flying MAX.

Just because of their history, nothing else..thier weapons could be a bit more powerfull too. But other than that, nothing. Just those two reasons :)

Yea guys, Vanu is good, but you need to learn how to play them. NC is great to just pickup and play, and Terrans are unbelievable with the chaingun.

But ill stop crying about overpowered Vanu maxes when everyone stops crying about our phoenix, the one great gun we have

I will have to say that after playing in teh purple armor, I find it quite stylish now. Vanu armor style looks better than all the others IMO as well. Only problem is out MAXs look ghey when they run.

I play all three Empires and I have to say I don't like the TR. In fact I'll go out of my way to wack one even if it means running past some NC or VS.

I really should play them more, might tomarrow. But right now, give me my Lancer, or my Gauss.
