So I've been playing MAXs and I got to wondering... rather than running around looking for someone else to fix my armor, can I fix my own?

And also - will training in heavy weapons make my MAX do any more damage, or is this simply a skill that allows more choice in weapons?

Basically, you train in the MAX and that's it - that's all you got.

Advanced medical terminals do it~

Nothing to do as a MAX but kill.

If you have access to an equipment terminal, you can switch to a different type of armor & then switch back to your MAX. The armor should be full.

That's what I do for regular armor types, I'm assuming it should work the same for MAX types.

it does but its not smart. the way the MAX system works is when you equip the armor you cant equip it again for 5 min. so if you do that then die soon you will have to wait for it to pass before gettin it back out

Have a good engineer in your squad. Engies are a MAX's best friend.:)

I do that a lot on my other characters. Load up my favorite, when the armor gets low I run back in and buy the cheap armor, and then load up the favorite again. Viola, the armor is at 100/100.

I think this would work with MAX's too, but with the 5 min time limit it'll only be good if it suited to swap from one type to another.

Basically, I take it that the only skill that is good for a MAX character is other MAX armors? What else is useful - nothing really.

Are there any rides you can learn to drive to get from spot to spot faster? I understand as a VS max you have lifters and it's easy to travel over obstacles...

You have to get certed for each fo your empire's MAXs individually, though. So you do still need to get skills, if you want to be prepared.

actually, I get somehting else and then re-get my max armor a lot if I am in the middle of a fight (great for defence, almost die, power going down, refresh away), or if I was attacking and almost died and wanted to attack right away again w/o waiting to die and come back..

besides, once hte max is out of armor and your into the health, your not lasting long ehough to do much, so I dont see why you dont switch it, just live for another 5 min ;)
