Did Starcraft: Ghost come out yet? And if it did, is it good or bad? Details if ya can spare 'em. If it didn't do you know the release date?

Go there. It's quicker for you to just freakin visit the site and find out yourself than to come here, ask us, and sit here and wait for a response.

Though the website was lacking, the game was not. I'd be glad to find a better home for your copy.

Ghost will kick ass. Blizzard wouldn't allow it to be released if it didn't, as this is their first "new" console game, and therefore their first steps into the market. If they blow it, they ruin their console reputation. If they make a hit, they start getting a reputation akin to their PC game one.

Blizzard, Bioware, and a few others, they CANNOT make a bad game, oh yeah, and Bungie! W00tz0r! Those are like the 3 best developers in the universe, can't remember the others though, but, you gotta agree, they have never made a bad game!

warcraft 3 was great, i don't know why some people have problems with it, i guess they just can't handle change, even if it's for the better

n00bz all of you.
Blizzard hasn't made a bad game, but they haven't made a BEST game. There are far better RTS games out there made by people who actually tried to change the shape of the genre instead of just making another clone.
Warcraft 3 = prettier version of warcraft 2
C&C Generals = prettier version of C&C
And neither have much depth to the gameplay.
The real RTS games are like Shogun: Total War and Kohan. Those games have more depth, more strategy. Blizzard RTS is about zerging, C&C is about superweapons. Shogun is about more than I can post here. Kohan... well, imagine a fight for a tower in PS, but the tower is your city.

well, sometimes strategic depth isn't all there is to an RTS game
blizzard games are very well known for creating entire original universes and having involving and gripping story lines and memorable characters
and WC3 does have a good bit of strategic depth, for more than i care to spend writing out right now
what i'm really waiting for from blizzard right now is World of Warcraft. the game looks great so far and just got better with the anouncement of Night Elves as playable characters :)

You obviously have never played Warcraft 3. I'm actually amazed that someone could be so bold as to bash a game they have zero idea on. Who do you think you're fooling here?
Anyway, Kohan is a really fun game. I thoroughly enjoy it and play it off and on to this day. I've never played Shogun, but I have played Midieval, and that wasn't too bad either. However, they are different kinds of games than Warcraft 3, which you haven't played and therefore have no idea about, and Starcraft, which you again have no idea about based on your "they're all about zerging" comment, or C&C Generals, a game which I hate. Warcraft 3 provides a different experience from Kohan or Shogun, and it's stupid to try and compare them. You'd be just as ignorant of the way each game is played if you attempted to compare PlanetSide to Everquest, or even to Counter-strike. They're not the same kind of game. FPS and RPG are big categories, and include all sorts of different play styles. Just because one game falls into the RTS category does not mean that it immidiately occupies a place on some linear chart comparing all RTS games against one another. Some RTS games are a lot more "macro" oriented, focusing on battlefield tactics involving large numbers of guys (Kohan or Shogun, if it's anything like Midieval), while others are of a much smaller scale, focusing on individual unit/Hero interrelations and with a more "micro" approach, as is with Warcraft 3.
So in conclusion, preach your love for Kohan and Shogun as much as it suits you, there's no harm in that. But don't regurgitate stuff you heard someone else say about a game you've never played, or played so briefly that you have no idea how it's meant to be played.

I hate Blizzard. Well let me correct that. Blizzard itself is pretty good, I hate Blizzard fanboys who like to say things like "Blizzard is the most innovative gaming company evah!" or "Blizzard makes the best games, they're so original!".
Blizzard has never once made an original game. What they do is take other peoples idea and make them better. Dune 2 begot Warcraft (well lest say warcraft 2 since the original sucked monkey balls). Diablo[w]? Ever hear of Castle of the Winds? Diablo is exactly like Castle of the Winds, but with pretty graphics.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Blizzard makes bad games, just that the ones they do make are for the most part simply better clones of other peoples games. Quality games? Sure. Original games? No, not quite.
That and Starcraft fanboys....god those people are idiots. Yes starcraft was an amusing game, and that's about it. It was not revolutionary as far as gameplay went. As far as gameplay went is was Warcraft 2 with 3 sides. Revolutionary as far as how many people played in online for an RTS? Maybe. But then I'm of the opinion that RTS is a horrible game model for multiplayer anyway /shrug

Very true. It'll be a sad day when a Blizzard game isn't a hit.
