I would guess the striker now that the pheonix has been nerfed (it has, right?) but im not in beta so its just a guess.

If you can hit the thing, and it is at range, the phoenix is the best.

If you need to hit something moving at a closer range, the striker is the best.

For a general all around weapon, the lancer is the best.

^I agree. The striker is probably my favorite, but I'm biased. I do however have a stockpile of phoenix and lancers in the ole locker because sometimes the striker just doesn't cut it.
