As an Infiltrator/Support Pilot I usually avoid battles, so much so that I don't even carry a pistol. Instead I opt for a REK and all plasma nades.
So anyhow, we NC were capturing a base and had successfully hacked it. Now here comes a TR Sunderer, so I freeze. The stupid driver stops about 100m outside the entrance to the base and everyone piles out. Now there is a mass of infantry and a couple MAXs coming up to the gate.
Meanwhile my heroic comerades are starting a firefight with them. Still I don't move. All of a sudden a group of four of the TR infantry starts for the main gate, keeping very close to one another. They pause to take down one of my buddies, my first plasma-nade is on its way. BOOM! They're all smoking green now, including the two guys with Cyclers.
Now you'd think that one grenade would be enough for them to learn to spread out... wrong...
Toss, Toss.... BOOOM, BOOOOOOOM!!! Two more grenades. Three of them drop dead, the fourth makes it a little way further only to be shot. Meanwhile the Sunderer has been blown to smitherines by a turret.
So in closing I'd just like to say that the TR boot camp on Dalton must be all about how to make scrambles eggs, cause these guys hadn't a clue on how to mount an effective offence.
