What a night.

Incase anyone didn't know yet, tonight was the night that NC and TR were organizing to get rid of VS on Markov.

Let me give you the events of my night:

1. I log in and create a reaver pilot to have fun in battling, since I've never tried air support.
2. I fly over Cyssor, come across an enemy tower, get fired at, suddenly have an ENORMOUS frame rate drop and crashed into the tower. Then I get disconnected.
3. I grab a reaver and attempt to go over to Searhus via Esamir.
4. The continent is full. So, I come back, recall, get another reaver and try going to another continent.
5. I get disconnected.
6. I somehow manage to land on a tree and not die. I walk back and make another reaver.
7. I join a squad, and then promptly get disconnected.
8. I come back, still in the squad, and we decide to just board the HART to get to esamir and get vehicles. We promptly drop next to an NC base, which I question the squad leader about until he says, "Oops, I forgot I'm playing VS, doh" and I am disconnected as I hit my head with a ceramic dish.
9. I get a reaver blah blah blah disconnected blah blah blah
10. With no way off the continent in a reaver, I become an AA MAX and join a squad. We're heading towards the warp bubble in a Galaxy, and I'm crossing my fingers we can make it through and have the most awesome time battling out both NC and TR as I get disconnected.

Yeah last nite was sad, it was actually one of the worst game times i've played so far. Some lag spikes from time to time but that wasn't too bad but in about 1 hour i got disconnected/crashed about 15-20 times. :(

Yeah, it seems to come in spurts. Like you can just expect to get slammed out once an hour or so, but man when it decides to screw, man it screws hard. I think the continent we were on went down 4 times, and I had about 3 system resets and 4 hard crashes aside from regular disconnects (where you can just jump right back in).

I hope for everyone's sake they can get that fixed here real quick or they'll kill this game with bad reviews cause of the release. How much more successful would WW2OL be if they had have putout the *real* gold edition just 3 months later as an actual release. Right now, it looks like beta will be released on may 19.

I also hope they install a damn remember password icon. ;)

That's not so different from a lot of peoples nights over the past few days. The devs REALLY f*cked up with that last patch. I don't think they tested it at all before release.

And for all of you who are not in beta and are hearing us talk about the evil server crashes, note that we keep coming back for more, even though, as Dio was, sometimes you get dropped a hell of a lot in a short amount of time. The crashes come in waves, but when the game is running well, it really is a hell of a lot of fun. :D

It pisses us off cause the game is so great you don't want to quit. It's actually a little too addictive. Sometimes you can't quit - or you look over and it's been like 2 hours more than you thought.

Yeah if SOE can get on the ball and fix the crashs then it will be pretty cool and should have a very succesful release, if they release it in it's current form than hello bad PR bye bye profits.
