Ok, in the last thread we about beat to death the Thumper (although a few questions were left unanswered *coughcough*). After cruising the boards for a few afternoons I think ive found another weapon that deserves some discussion: The Lancer.
From various people ive heard the following things
-Practically insta hit (like the sniper rifle)
-One second recharge
-Very effective vs MAXs and reasonably effective against heavy tanks
-Very effective against infantry (?!?!) with kills in 2-3 shots
Sounds to me like a DAMN good weapon. Post your thoughts here.
P.S. Feel free to compare with other weapons, especially the other AV weapons or even assault/h-assault weapons if discussing dmg vs infantry.
