Well I've screwed myself in highschool and I am most likely going to need to do a semester of homeschool to catch myself back up on credits and shit and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about homeschool? Like what kind of time does it take up? How much does it cost? What does it take from your parents? Is it really that bad? And other stuff like that...o0o0o and I live in southern california in the Vista Unified School District if anyone lives close by and has personal experience with this area would be great.... Thanks

Smartest people I know are homeschooled. Also, if you work hard, you can get all your shit for the whole day done in about 2-3 hours.

ive been home schooling this year ever since i got out of my 3 week stay in the hospital (at the begining of the school year). i find it rather easy, and i can burn through my work in 2-3 hours (like Navaron said). i usually do all the work on my own without my parents help. i'd say if you're pretty smart it shouldnt be too hard for you.
if i really tried i could be through with school right now

I don't think it's that bad - I know some people who weren't very well off who did it. It can't be much. Walmart.com has alot of books too - I get some of my books for college there for a LOT cheaper than at the school bookstore just fyi.

I knew a person who did homeschool for a semester and hated it, even if he was done quickly. If you are socially dependent, don't do homeschool. D'oh... messed up my sig.

eh homeschooling is good but it does seem to shelter you from the wierdness of the general public (can be a good thing and bad thing...)
on a more personal note... I recently met this 20 year old hottie who was home schooled for most of her life, needless to say she likes most of the things I do from metallica to a bit of anime... and she's a virgin :brow:
and seriously :hitit:

Prolific, I do independant study. A form of homeschooling. What i basically do is get a month load of work and do it when i feel like it for a whole month. The whole key to getting it done is self motivation. I did this and i am getting awesome grades, How old are you? Im a freshman :)
What school do you go to? Vista, Rancho?
I live right near rancho

Hehe, I know foster live's by me, We talk on ICQ, We should get together and hang out and talk PlanetSide in real life, That'd be sweet. I actually got a scholarship through the school district. My advice to you owuld be to talk to your guidance councelor and see what options Vista high has :)
