Hell yes :D pre-orderd from amazon.co.uk, should get it 23rd of the month. Thank god I'm in the beta or I'd be going mad now :P
Great game, and the server in Amsterdam is *very* good news as the 230 ping I get atm (with ADSL) lags things up here and there. It should be smooth as . . . using that server.
As long as the keep adding stuff to it, I'll keep paying for it.

I'm just really glad I got to participate in beta. Having played over a month now, I've finally become rather burnt out on it. I was hyped for this game for a long time, and though I had a lot of fun with beta ... the game ultimately became repetitive and each day I play it gets a little more boring.
So thanks to Beta, I've saved myself some money. Next time I go into Gamestop I'll cancel the reservation and put the money on something else.
Have fun with the game guys.

Not I. I am glad as well that I was in beta and a thank you to Sony for allowing me. I will get PS only if SJ enlightens us about the new features that will be added after release.

Of course I'm buying...this game is going to be great. But do you think that some people who arn't going to buy anymore are going into it with to high of expectations or going in it with different expections then what the game really is supposed to be?

I'm buying... as well as about $550 canadian (That's about $300 US) worth of parts to run it.
But my comp is getting old and grey anyways, running anything beyond this point is gonna require more than what I have: Splinter cell is pushing the limit, the next generation of games (i.e. Homeworld2, b&w2, etc. etc.) won't run on my current rig.
Ah well, if I get bored of it I can play morrowind, which would actually run with playable framerates.
I don't think I will get bored of it too easy, though. I mean, it took about two and a half months to get bored of Tribes 2 and I really only stopped playing because the community was filling with lamers n' scriptkiddies, on top of all the competing mods completely eliminating base play. Oh, AND I was getting sick of Katabatic, and CTF in general. AND there was that whole thing with there only being about 450 players on at a time, with an equal amount of servers (95% of which were totally empty). AND there was that wierd incompatibility with my cable modem which would cause my ping to jump to 44000 every 30 seconds and cause the game to practically freeze for five-to-ten seconds and sometimes disconnect me completely - but that only happened some of the time - and this would also cause the maps to simply NOT LOAD.
Yeah, T2 was (still is, kinda) fun but it has too many crippling flaws which I see no sign of in PS (Low player count? Aahahahhahaha) and PS has a lot of the things I like about T2 - vehicles, mostly skill and a little luck based multi-role warfare, running people over with vehicles (Yessssss!), pretty well-balanced weapons, bases, interesting and tactical-possibility-filled terrain, and a you-can-be-anything-you-want feel to it. On top of that is the huge, persistant world, the three unique empires and the promise of continual revamping.
Downside is it costs $18 or $19 per month, of course, on top of the $65+ box and the $550 upgrades (Which would have been done for some other game anyways), but I feel it's worth it.
The only thing I really hope they do is the ability to create 'aliases' that are new characters, but belong to the same outfits, friends-lists, etc. and keep your old stats. So if you decide to start over you don't have to explain to everyone you know 'Hey, it's me! Let me back in the outfit!'
It would save me from having my characters being named "Tieom", "TieomsClone", "TieomsClonesClone", and "TieomsClonesClonesClone"

im defintly going to buy it .. I plan on waiting a bit to hear about the new content and to watch that nasty $49.99 price tag drop.
Why its going to take a while to drop and the most it will drop is maybe to 30... thats a while and i dont think 20 bucks is worth a couple of months
