I wasnt able to get in the beta (cause of my shit conection) but I read in some forums about the lattice thing that was just put in. What exactly is it and how does it work (as it does currently)?

There was a lot of complaining about the lattice for a while, but it seems to have died down as people adjust to it.

Anyway, it is a system that connects bases like in Risk. (if you have played that) Basically you have a few lines that connect one base to the others. Only bases connected with a friendly base can be hacked. Thus you have a well-defined front line.

Now this isnt to say you cant go behind enemy lines. No siree, I HARTed onto Amerish with a squad and destroyed everything in one of the bases until it went neutral. Then we hacked it, got power, and went from there. The NC got really pissed though for unlocking the continent. :p
