Im wondering how the collision detection works in PS. Can a MAX block a doorway and prevent someone from leaving? It seems to me like this could be used to grief people, and the only way out of the room is to shoot the guy thereby racking up grief points.

You wrack up about 100 grief points by removing people like that. Nothing major.... Not that I would know or anything. :D
