I know I must sound like a complete n00b when I ask this, but how do you get a screenshot of your desktop, and what folder does the image go to?

1. Press Print Screen button (To the right of F12)
2. Open up Paint
3. Press Ctrl+V
4. Save as .jpg
5. Upload

Simple just hit print screen which is next to F12 and scroll lock, then go into paint or something and hit ctrl+V.

k dumb question buyt how do u make the taskbar silver like in so many pics of desktops???

2. Left click properties
3. Select the appearance tab
4. On the "Sub Design" drop down box, Select silver
5. Select apply and then hit ok

mine was just made in paint, I was tired of having sooo many icons, so I had specific spots and labeled them, like a red square for my fav game, PLANETSIDE duh, and stuff, its kinda kewl, and in my screensaver, I have just about every single pic on PSU and the official planetside database, muahahahahahahahahha

That's just a new feature of windows media player. Just let WinXP update and it'll download it for you. It shrinks down to the taskbar like that when you minimize it. It's actually a really nice feature and I'm impressed as hell that Microsoft implemented it in a windows app.
