vehicle certs

Am I the only one thinking vehicles should be in certification categories, like weapons? Something like "transports", "assault buggies", "heavy tanks", "flyers", etc... I haven't been playing the beta very long, only two weeks, but in that time I've seen hundreds of Galaxies, AMS' and Reavers, some Lightnings and ANTs, and almost nothing else. No buggies, no jeeps, and the only tank I ever saw was a Vanguard. Once. Now I know this game is infantry-oriented, but I think vehicles could take a greater role in the game if they were a little more accessible. So why not have their certifications in categories like vehicles? Discussion?

I think it's fine the way it is... doing something like that would give someone too many certs, and I think they wanted to limit peoples versatility a little.

I think that is a very good idea...I think it would bring about a hell of a lot more vehicle usage. Personally certs are just to vauluable to spend on getting the ATV thing and such.

i see lots of tanks... been flattend by a speeding magrider on easmir mor times than id like to remember :D

harassers buzz around there too but that i like, its like its snack time for my pheonix.

this may just be because im nc but i see lots of enforcers out there too... the occasional thrasher? or whater that vs piece of craps called but not once have a seen the tr buggy. but thats probably because i mostly gun after vs.

ive only seen the deliever once and it was a tr and it died very quickly out in the middle of a lake

the sunderer's, being the tanks they are, are always attacking bases

then there's hordes of the basics... ams, ant, reaver, mosqueto.

find lots of abandoned wraiths

so really all i dont see being used alot are the other empire buggies besides nc's, 4 wheelers, and delievers

well a vehicle helps u get around continents obviously. i found it hard to get to places that were a ways to go and i did na have my vehicle cert.

Maybe if they made attack vehicle category certs more expensive... 4 or 5 certs perhaps.

It's probably because everyone is low level. Since this is beta testing, everyone isn't as high as the full game would be. Just give it time, and people will gain levels and purchase more vehicle certs.
