Yeah tell me about it. The afternoons I don't have anything to do the servers are always down for fixing. Really sucks. And Yes there are have several other threads about that website so I think most of the people know about it.

We are working on something here as well, problem is we want to do it without stealing all of SOE's bandwidth every page load

Well, i feel the same way guys about the servers down then up then down then up the...........
you know what im mean
It would be nice to be able to see the number of players/status-of-server/empire-need, but all that would use up to much bandwidth.
If you did....you might want to try a update every hour or half-hour kinda thingy so that it doesnt refresh everytime someone comes to the PSU site.
So the website checks the servers at specified times and stores it on this website. No one directly hits the server, but this website to check the stats of the servers. I think im rambling on, but i know what im saysing....do u? (looks at hamma)

I dunno... I don't think it'd be that hard at all, or take up that much bandwidth. I work with cold fusion and SQL a bit. Just have the servers export hard numbers with a variable attached to a different webserver with it's own pipe. that server could take those hard numbers and translate them into pretty pictures and graphs for everyone to see. Make the update sequenced whenever you want. Bada'bing'bada boom.
