Does the difference between day and night make a big impact on visibility or do people just turn up the brightness on their monitors?.

if you were not told it was night, you wouldnt even know it was night out :p

The only hting that affects vis is storms, the worst is a night blizzard (cant see 5 feet)

How are battles in night blizzards? That would sound like it was fun, I'm sure some infiltrators would have a blast sneaking around and capping random people left and right

engine probably couldn't handle it, but I think it would be sweet for Water/snow to come to rest on a infiltrator during those storms, actually making him more visible.

that would seriously be cool.. although someone would cry that the infiltrators were being nerfed :)

honestly I think the whole "implant to see infiltrators" needs to be nerfed. I really think if your going to run around with almost no weaponry, no armor, you might as well be damn near undetectable 99% of the time.

almost no weaponry is right. Key word, "almost". 80% of my deaths are to the little invis sneaks coming up from behind and killing me while trying to snipe with my cycler.

First implant I get, it's to see the little sneak-thiefs!

I don't mind being killed, but in such a humilating way is a kick to my ego. And believe me, there ain't much left to kick!

It'd be very cool, but it wouldn't help much. In some of those storms, you can't see far enough away to see people until you bump into them. :)

yep, I was attacking a base from the tower next to it in the middle of a heavy snow storm, at night, and I lost sight of the base itself as well as any possible targets that I could shoot at, made my phoneix useless
