Hey i have:

2ghz Pentium 4
GeForce 4 MX 440
256mb pc2700 DDR RAM

do you think i can run planetside? what upgrades are recommended? is 512 RAM enough?

256 is bad. However, you have a good graphics card. I think you'll run PS fairly well.

I run PlanetSide on a:

2.0ghz Pentium 4

512MB DDR RAM

It runs quite well, but i still get laggy deaths a lot, and sometimes, turn a corner and die due to someone killing me while my machin loads terrain and such, I really think you should get 512, if not more for PS, heck, im upgrading my RAM soon as well.

ya i have the same specs as u tok1m cept i have 512 ram it lags evry now then but it is palyable.

Having 256 myself, I would say pick up another stick of the good stuff. :) Its not that expensive, but it will help quite a bit.
