I've been looking at planetside and have decided to join once the game comes out May 20th, but while i sit here and salivate over its release, I've been trying to get a good understanding on how the equipment works. There is one object in particular that has stumped me......the ACE. Is it really any good? Tell me, in your humble opinions, how well the item actually performs and if it is really that good of an asset to infiltrating hackers.

Also, I know this might cause a stir, but what side would you guys recommend. Please try to keep this civil....:D

VERY VERY Usefull, Spitfires (created by ACEs) are really really good, easily better than those crappy wall turrets Motion sensors are cool, cause if you have one ina tower or something it detects motion and puts a dot on your radar where they are.
Its pretty useful for infil, when I hacked i carried abound a few ACEs, and mined up the entrances to ccs and stuff.

Well, the ACE in itself isn't anything special, just the things it becomes are.

ACE is leet, took out 2 max and 2 infantry standing together. You can't live without it if you are infiltration ;).

Wow, as an Infil the ACE is of great use, and wreaks havoc on those who don't notice me, the only thing that sucks is that you can only carry 4 as Infil (5 if you don't have a REK, but i always carry REK being an Adv Hacker), but thats ok, because you can easily set up multiple Boomers, and wait for someone to walk by. Being a hacker, its easy to get more for me, and i rarely die with Surge implant, if someone sees me, I run!

The ACE is extremely usefull. It is real nice in defence. When you and your squad take a base, run around and start placing mines in front of all the doors and turrets in key possitions. It makes your base about 5 times harder to take. If your looking for more of a offensive weapon, take an ACE, combine it with a infiltrator suit, shake throughly and release in enemy territory. You will make a killing, most litterally. :)
