Beta version download LONG

How long did it take you to download the beta? i was willing to download it but if it takes 77 hours to download i cant download it. I have to sleep with that stupid thing buzzing away all night. anyway i can wait 12 days. :mad: :blowup:

Itll go down, hopfully.
Even then the patching will take pretty long if the gamespy beta version hasent had the lastest megapatch :x
And if I doesent, itll start out diplaying somthing around 168 hours, itll be at like 3 hours if sleep on it in the morning

Im on a T1 line and the patching program starts to download, then stops and eventually turns its self off after a few hours..

Anyone else have similar problems?

I tried last night and all day to download it, every time i get to the first in line, it stops and makes me go back to the end. I will kill whoevers responsible for this. Was it you, hamma? *brandishes 3 sided sword*. Makes a wound that won't close...

Does the fileplanet waiting line move you back for some reason? It's happened to me with almost an attempt to download it.

It does it cause they assume u have a decent connection then someone with a 56k jumps in and tries to d/l teh game and throws u back (Time wise).. and u have to remember that some subscribers want to download and they get first priority.

By the way i didn't wait very long i got on to asugamers, for some reason. it only took 5 minutes, but it wasen't on my other computers. downloading was the same.

Screw the beta. the release is only9 days away. Don't waste all your time downloading it when in a week you won't be able to play it.
