Well once release rolls around the outfit "Auraxis guard" will be up. Check out the site at www.auraxisguard.tk

Its all flash so if you have 56k you may have to wait a lil bit.

I wouldn't worry about joining an outfit when beta will be going for less than a week, and the outfits of beta will not necesarily be where you want to be during release (they might on a radically different cross-country server where your pingtime is wretched).

Best advice is to play release for a while, and see which people you enjoy being around. The social aspect of outfit-talk is just as important as the actual gameplay for the longevity of this game. It behooves you to find people that you can be friendly with. Rushing into that sort of thing would be a mistake.

I have alot of respect for CDL- you might want to look into them, Manitou rocks. I don't think they're taking apps right now, but you might want to wait till they start up again.

Gotta find out what you want in a clan -

A serious "always on" clan that has high scores?

A fun, who cares clan?

A people clan (together for the friendship - then the game)?

Look at recruitment and requirements. Some require teamspeak, others any schmuck can get into. Some don't even recruit or accept applications.

Check em all out. Most important is the leader's attitude, so if he won't stop and chat with you in IRC then he's not worth your time.
