What do you guys think?

I personally don't really like it. Almost everything is high pitched, from the aircraft to the shotguns. Machine guns sound like laserbeams instead of bullets. There aren't any meaty, deep sounds at all. I'm kinda dissapointed. Plus, the sound plane is weird, I can't tell what the hell it's prioritizing.

The only real problem I have with the sound in PS is it's hard to tell where things are comeing from sometimes. When I used to play EQ I could sit there and if a frost giant wandered up at me I could turn around and target it without even looking, just from the great 3d stereo sound. PS seems to have something... but not all that good. Mostly I just hear machine gun fire and although I might be able to work out what general direction it comes from (and might not!) I'm more likely to see the fighting before I can locate it by sound, which really kills my reaction time.

I used to fly the reaver a lot, I loved my reaver. The engines are terribly loud when you're flying that thing full throttle, anoyingly loud and high pitched. But when it comes right down to it I'm not going to bitch about that at all because hell, they're jet engines. They're supposed to be loud and annoying and high pitched. I'm not flying a tyco electric reaver. :)

They may be loud but as a driver you have ear gear and sound proof cockpits.

should be loud just outside it and when it flys over personall but for a pilot and passengers should be a calm humming sound.

Are there actually no deep sounds? That's fairly disappointing..

I haven't noticed too much. I do think some of the heavier weapons could be a bit more menacing sounding, but most ssounds do very well.

Hmmm , i watched some "cheap-home-maked" videos and the sound is ... quite bad . I hope when you play it , it will sound better :) , but anyway , it was hard to difference a bullet shot and a blast .

I like the sound and the music for that matter.... When it frikken works.

I don't know what the hell my problem is, but my audigy freaks out and every so often and i get this crazy jarble of noise and then my music will cut out along with a lot of game sounds. Then like 30 minutes later it will randomly come back.

I had the same damn problem in BF1942.

Although the weapon sounds aren't MOHAA that's for sure.. shit, i played that game just to listen to the m1 reload.
