You're bored, don't have a lot of time to play and you feel like going it alone. What do you? How much trouble can one person cause to the enemy?

Minor damage. You will be very lucky if you manage to inflict any noticeable harm beyond killing a few enemy soldiers.

I like to go around and hack enemy towers.

Oh blah blah blah...

Study the map and find a base that is way outa the way deep in the enemy SOI. Find one with a gun tower close by. Then hack all the local towers. Then go inside the base and kill the spawn tubes and if present, cert terms. At some point if you have AMS cert then you will need to hack the Vpad and stash a AMS some place outa the way. Mine all the doors, stairs, landing pads, Vpad runouts and base entries. Go back to the gun tower and use the turrets to kill the turrets on the base. DO NOT ATTACK THE GENERATOR. You need it to maintain your presence. Blowing health stations is debateble. You can always hack a eq term and get health kits from there. If you wanna use the health station you gotta hack it, but your enemy does not. Eq terms themselves... you could just select one you will return to when you must and destroy the rest.

Still bored? Take a reaver and dive bomb the enemy Vpads closest to the hotspots. Pick the right one at the right time and you can easily kill a whole squad. Cluster fucked, stressed out about losing their place in line or getting TKed. An entire offensive wave can be skewed in a matter of seconds. I've killed prolly 15 to 20 ppl at one time by just knowing when and where to strike. Pounding the Vpad, killing everyone who wants to purchase a vehicle. Often killing the Vpad itself, forcing them repair it first. If the base isn't theirs quite yet... heh, they cant repair terms that aren't theirs.

AMS jacking... thats sort of a lonewolf trade.

Warpgate camping... just look on the map for bases that are low on ntu and camp the closest warpgate.

A lonewolf can get into some shit believe me.

lone wolf sniping can be fun. I like to find a battle between the other two factions and snipe both sides. It doesnt accomplish much other than piss everyone off but it could change the outcome of some smaller battles. Eventually you'll run out of ammo or they'll send a max or reaver out to get you though, so make sure you hack a tower somewhere nearby.

I find sneaking about in a Mossie doin high speed strafing runs over bases is quite a good laugh.

Your don't achive much but its quite good fun.

you can do a lot of stuff playing lone wolf, Sniping, reaver/lightning driver etc

since im a spy im usually lone wolfing it inside a squad anyway heh, so I must say one of the funnest lone wolf tactics out there is the invisible plasma chucker

load ur inv full of plasma grenades and just hide around corners (especially the vpad) and chuck them at groups of enemy soldiers

Usually u will get a few kills but the real fun comes from running away from them. Nothin like havin a large ass group of extremely pissed off (and burning) people chasing after you :)

Hehehe, Thats why I use surge and the alternate fire on my grenades. I throw it, hit surge and start running for cover. I hear it blow up about the same time I am well out of range. just make sure you don't sprint right into an enemy max. They don't like that. :D

I've been stuck by myself a few times. I think picking a continent that has a single front, and going deep to hack towers is a good use of your time. It allows folks on your side to spawn and prep to take the bases.

The best I've done is hacking three towers, hacking a base that just became connected to the lattice, and then defending one of the towers against first one, then two, and finally three reaver pilots intent on getting it back. Note that I don't have the hacking cert, or infiltrator armor.

I figured I was doing something for our side - at least keeping three reavers busy for quite some time, while only sacrificing one player for it.

But, being part of a team and doing it in a coordinated manner is the best way to be effective, no question.

ive never "lone wolfed' in PS, but ive done in BF1942... sorry if you find this a spam but maybe you can relate it to PS...

I woudl start as a engineer, go to enemy base in a jeep, lay down dynamites on teh wings of unpiloted planes... and when a person goes in and is about to gain speed for takeoff, i blow it up... not only is it fun and pleasing to watch, their reactions are extra funny... hmm ok hope it helps lol

Incorrect, you are the all singing crap of the world, you are not a beautifull and unique snowflake, you are part of the some organic compost heap.
