Pilgrim

This happened last night... well, this morning technically.
I'm NC on Emerald go by the name Pilgrim.
My squad and I had been cleaning up on Hossin, minimal ressitance so it was pretty cut and dry. After an hour we'd cleared out the VS from Hossin and were ready to leap into Ishunder... I had checked the map and realized that the TR were doing on Ishunder what we were doing on Hossin... very scary!
So through the warp bubble and to the first tower, then onto Marduk... at least that was the plan :) Lots of TR reavers cut us up pretty bad and they pushed us back to the tower. With no Vehicle support we had to make a long run to Marduk, still well deffended (started calling this Reaver Alley because of the massive deaths!)
After 30 minutes of fighting we broke through, took a second tower, and were fighting for Marduk proper. After a bit the power went out and we found ourselves with a neutral base with no NTU's and the TR hitting our bases on the other side of the bubble.
The ANT situation was resolved by recalling to Sanc, HART to a safe base in Hossin, and then drive through... worked, though someonje beat me to it... I got about 30 xp from ANT before a Reaver blew the crap outa it!
The the TR countered hard, pushed us out of Marduk and took our hack. So we did what any self respecting NC would do and pushed back.
After 10 minutes of fierce fighting we secured the hack back, but the TR had taken the north tower and were pouring down.
War weary and sore we shouldered our weapons and walked to the wall. By this time my squad was down to 4, (it was now 2:30 am MST) On that wall I ran out of Ammo twice, for both my suppressor and my Pistol, many TR died that night... and well... me to just for the record.
They gave as good as they got, but in the end we heald on. The cap switched hands 4 times... each being paid for in blood and tears.
And now to the topic, for our 2+ hours of fighting, and the will to push a numerically supperior foe back, how much xp did we get for the cap?
5384
And that is a personel best.
So for all you TR monkey's who fought at MArduk last night, I applaud you your tenacity. To all the NC who fought at Marduk last night we rocked in patience.
And HullBreach, Ron, and all the others... Damn good squad guys! :)
For everyone else, walk through the halls of Marduk, and know that many people fought, and died there, it was rough, but in the end it was worth it.
