game instalation problem

Did any of you get errors during the installation? I got error just when the first pic of vanu comes up. The error is like in D:\data2.cab And this is disk 1 ofcourse.

Please, I want to know if anybody had that problem. I already email my problem to planetside. HEres what it says in the window:

Component: PlanetSide
File Group: PlanetSide Files
File: D:\data2.cab
Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)


Anybody know what the hell it means, obviously its a data error during the installation. Either the disk is kinda screwed, or my computer is kinda screwed.

Hmmm...I dunno myself but if there are any previous files (like BETA) installed delete them (although you don't have too it may help) or any other PS files

Then try again...or reboot and try again, you never know

I think I'm gona return it for another copy today....if it still doesn't work, I got some yeling to do.....along with sragling myself.:rolleyes:
