Are you talking game-wise, or hardware wise? or what...

Wheres the vote for they all RULE!?....
Well to be completly honest I think all of the systems have their strong and their weak points. I currently own a PS2 and want to get a X-Box within the next year. To really dedicate yourself either one of the systems and proclaim it king of all would only...
[In my eyes at least]
Make you a the utterly hated... "FANBOY" and no one likes a fanboy. All the systems rock and all the systems suck in some way. None that I feel like picking out or even trying to research to pick and prod about.
Hail to all of the Next-Gen systems and all mighty praises to the Next-Next-Gen systems that will follow behind their glorious footsteps.

PS2 and Gamecube.
Their controllers =
Micr0s0ft's controller = h8tr3d
That and... welll, that. The games for each of them r0x0r too. :D
mmm...well, Im no platform guy, but I do have an xbox and like the controllers alot. I like the extra size (big hands) compared to some of the other controllers that came with the machines in the first place.
other than that, Im definitely more of a PC guy

Yeah I like PC games alot too. But I also love my Cube and PS2 :D
I am and surely always will be a Nintendo man. So my vote goes for NGC.
The NGC is a great console, perhaps not as powerful as the Xbox but still the easiest to develop for and use it's full potentiel. And despite what people say it's not a kiddy console, that's just some lame insult that (rightfully so) started with the N64 but has nothing to do with the NGC. It's controllers rock. And the GBA connection has some good potentiel there. And the main reason i like NGC is Nintendo, unlike the other 2 competitors the big N is and always will be about games first money later. They know how to make thier own games and make them good and they don't make or buy the rights to a game just because it will make cash but rather because their fans will enjoy it. (this is a mixed blessing though)
The Playstation will always be a console i do not like, they have some good games on it but the console itself is more hype than anything. People were so amazed by the PSX for some reason, first time i saw it i though "Holy crap that's a lot of pixels". Controllers are not the best thing either IMO.
The Xbox is an enigma, i haven't played it much so i can't decide. It seems like a great console but the huge controllers are a big minus for it and it's library isn't my type, only games that interest me a Halo,DoA3,Splinter Cell and a few more. It's big plus though is the online compenent which is much more developed than the other 2 consoles and also the networking possibilties.
In short my order is NGC > Xbox > PS2.

The xbox controllers aren't that big. Unless your hands are the size of a 5 yr olds you shouldn't have a problem. If the controller is that much of a problem different companies have released a smaller version of said controllers for the Xbox.
The GC's controllers are tiny as hell. They look like they were made for a 5 yr old.
I don't mind PS2s controllers because I've always been a Playstation fan and the controllers really never bothered me but I like to know that I'm actually holding something.
PS2 has probably the most quality games because it's been out for longer. PS2 has great games. I'm looking forward to DMC2 alot.
I think games for the Xbox will just keep getting better because it's hardware limitations haven't been really tested except with the release of games like Halo and DOA3. Still waiting for Ninja Gaiden and Halo 2 :D
I just don't think GC has the quality of games that the other 2 have but that may change. Nintendo has always been geared towards kids though so don't take too much offense to that. They have had some games that were for a mature audience but for the most part it's still aimed towards younger people.
Xbox and PS2 will most likely have a long console life. GC might but they need to start pumping out games that are actually worth playing.

Dio... I agree with you whole heartedly. :D
Nintendo has my loyalty nigh forever. They're a great company, they build great systems, and they're just DAMN GREAT!
Nintendo > Sega
Nintendo > Sony
Nintendo > Micr0s0ft
And they most definitely have the coolest mascot as well. :cool2:
Well Nintendo > Sega is a toughie.
Sega got some MAJOR points with me thanks to their Dreamcast. That console was amazing. It came out in 99 and is still pretty close to the games that are being released now. It has tons of great games and the VMU was one of the best peripheals ever made. The controllers were awesome, the whole thing was just superb. :)

unfortunately DC flopped. Sega makes good games still so it's ok. Allied with the evil of evil  Microsoft

I myself enjoy PS2 and Gamecube, although i didn't like the gamecube controller's smallness at first, i had to buy the mad kat bigger one.
