launchpad

When i click to start planetside off the desktop shortcut it tells me that launchpad has encountered a problem, any ideas?

does it say what problem? any specific error message?

nothing specific, im on xp so it come up with an error report but i cant make head nor tail of it

I have the exact same problem Squall. I have talked to tech guys at SOE and they have no clue how to fix it. Lol the only time my patcher works is immidiatly after install. So everytime I want to play I have to delete and reinstall PS and DL the patch over again. I dont know if you have tried that but it is annoying.

what patch is it that you have to download?

can anyone help, i have to reinstall planetside every time i want to play it otherwise launchpad wont work, so i have to wait nearly 2 hours before i can actually play the game
