and yea, its valid. the more accurate one is uniques, counts each person thats been here today, hits counts every hit - mutiple ones from the same people for example

I wrote and put that up last night, here's how it works:

A hit is one viewing of a page.
A unique hit is a 'viewer' (recorded by IP). This is the stat to look at. When it says we've had close to 1000 unique hits total it doesn't lie. :) that's just since last night too.

the "hits today" will start to be accurate after midnight tonight. it resets every day at midnight and since i added that at 2:30pm est today it's not accurate at all.

The stats don't lie. :D
