I would stay too , Hamma . But , as you say , EXP isn't the point , so , why we can't arrive there faster and get the funnier part of the game ?

Amen. EXP is only for getting off the ground. Once you spread your wings in whatever class you happen to be, EXP takes the bench to actually having fun.
EDIT: in response to Hamma. I hate it when people post when you're typing...

I will continue to power-level, using the non-exploitive activities that yield the highest experience until I get a few more levels and can play however I want without worrying about my certs. I still think their system is shitty and it rewards the wrong things, but it's their game and I'm tired of complaining about it, so wtfever.

Could you explain this powerlevling method to me Airlift? I could use a few more certs to get my char to the point I want it.

I'll probably stop after a month or so if the exp isn't changed. There will be more MMOFPS coming out soon enough now that there is on. Surely one of them will realize the game is about fighting and not use the exp treadmill carrot to retain players.
As for the power leveling thing. You get in a squad that wants maximum exp. Find a continent your winning on. Spread out the squad so you have people at every base. Make sure you setup an AMS in each SOI where your fighting at. Assist your other teammates with the hack. As soon as resistance ends move on to the next base.
Basically you leach off a full squad or more's base capture and you get exp for it. Instead of only getting one base exp though you spread out to get as many bases as you can.
When you start to lose on a continent pull out and head to a new one. Defending nets you almost no exp so you dont' want to do it. Follow the caps around and just rack up the exp.

I am currently using the Mosquito, because the best experience is one step ahead of the zerg. The key is to find the next base that will be attacked and survive in the SOI until the zerg washes over the base. When the hack is in on your base, wait until there is around 10 minutes left, then move on to the next base. Avoid Squad Leader position at all costs. If someone promotes you (be on the lookout for this right before a cap), promote someone else quick.

I will still play no matter what but i think they will change the xp system to our benefit alittlemore. This way the people who need a straw about the xp thing can finally suck it up.

I love how chavr will wait a month (when he will have enough exp to do whatever he wants) before switching. So you're going to wait until it is no longer a hindrance to your character and then leave?? That's pretty odd.

Actually, I probably won't play at all in the next month. My suspension wont' be off till wednesday, I think. Wednesday morning at 0530 I have to be in Nashville at the MEPS to get my orders to go to Texas. The next month or more will be spent getting adjusted to my unit and back into the swing of being in the infantry again.
I went ahead and bought the game now because I figured with the beta exp we saw I could get to 16-18 before I had to leave and then when I got back I woudln't have to worry about getting certs and just playing the game. Boy was I ever wrong on that plan.

@airlift : why not be squad leader???
What is so wrong with it? Less BEP for CEP or what?

When squad leader any base capture awards you Cep instead of Bep. Due to the extremely low exp from kills a squadleader's only way of getting certs is to hand off being leader before the hack goes thru. Either that or just don't be squad leader at all.

I don't even pay attention to exp. I had everything I wanted right out of VR :/ So, in response to your question. I won't leave if they do or do not change it.

Really? I always assumed that as squad leader you just got the same amount of BEP as you got CEP. I admit I never really watched it too closely but it sure seemed like my exp bar jumped after every cap when I was in beta... Well that is a horrid way to promote teamplay, punish the squad leaders  .
