Ok, after i get through my launchpad to begin launching a game, my screen goes black as it should, but 3-5 seconds later i CTD, and this is the EXACT TEXT of the error message.
Planetside has experienced a generic error

Planetside will now exit

OK, i know that i cannot expect a bug free game, but
1) why ship a game with errors taht are "generic". unless i misunderstand what generic would mean
2) Can i at least get a hint at whats wrong?

This happens everytime, so its not a specific thing i am doing. It even CTD on those training options.

The one thing i can think of is taht i reset all my Nvidia drivers right before this started happening. By reset i mean wipe old ones and DL new ones... But i followed driver procedure exactly. Any tips hints or solutions will be GREATLY appreciated.

BTW, i will be upgrading my RAM to 680 this friday :)

I just reinstalled my OS and PlanetSide yesterday and got some strange error as soon as I tried to select a server (don't remember if it was generic or not though). I had to uninstall and reinstall the game, but that did work for me.

After a full reinstall, i get the same error when starting the game.

Generic Planeside application error.
PlanetSide will now exit

This is the exact text of this message, the typos are not my addition. notice two different spellings of Planetside. Planeside and PlanetSide. argh.
