squad status bar

I am playing this game in 800x600, with this res and squad bar on half of my screen is filled with it and the proximity map + chat window.

I saw a toggle key in the keymap menu, and it only works for me when i am outside a squad < which then is kinda useless.

So my question is, is there a way to toggle that big ass thing on and off ?

Shift-C toggles the chat pane (I do it by accident while an infil all the time)... have never tried removing the others though.
