Well during beta the reaver required alot more skill then i t did before. As of now i wont have a reaver untill im BR12 (im 9 right now) because my outfit and squads need transport. What i learned during my battles in beta made me the Owner Of The Skiez! If you dont belive me then wait for the outfit comps if ur a friendly or untill im BR12 if ur an enemy. Ill show u the true skillz of a battle ripened reaver pilot.

Dont Hover! Rule of thumb is that u do not as a reaver pilot stay stationary or stay anywhere near the ground if u are not blasting a target to pieces (even then dont hover). Use a technique called the forward, strafe, forward! A 3 Point technique, first as ur coming in at ur target shoot at is as you would noramly would, but when u passs it let go of the thrust and begin to strafe and turn with the mouse (same direction) and u will be behind the enemy facing its back and ready to unload some more. At this point u can go forward or finish it off.

Fly High In the sky. Keep away from the range of normal fire and vision. 2 certs that are good for a pilot (mosq and the soon to be bomber too) is zoom implant and adv targeting. When u fly up high to the ground u canuse the implant while u hover to look for enemies and then use the adv targeting to choose ur targets wisley. You can then swoop down and take out a few targets and the after burn urself back up into the sky, or u can launch rockets from up tere and hope ur target doesnt move (TURRETS AND AMSes)!

Bail before u reach 20% armor and make sure u afterbrun away from the place u were. Try to get about 3 secs in afterburn away and then bail. If your too close to the person that shot u down, they might want to take u out too. You were shot down for a reason, too many enemmies with missles, u dont wantto land in the middle of that!

Well thats Lesson One, If you want to add ur own tips or comment, post away!

Be an engineer! its always good being able to land in a safe place away from the battle, repair your reaver, and go back in to cause some more desruction.

Have three favorites for reaver:
1.Bullet ammo
2.Rocket ammo
3.Nano dispenser

Note: Advanced Targeting drains slow enough, that when in a reaver, stamina always stays at 100, so dont be afriad to keep that on.

Before going to a battle, make sure you have some afterburn. It sucks when you meet a AA MAX, and you cant get away from his missles.

Yeah, engineering is a must. Taking out turrets is easily done with engineering. I will hit the turret from the blind side, and lay missiles into it. As soon as the turret starts to shoot at me, i fly past it, wait a few seconds for him to look for another target then go at him again. With engineering you can do that twice, then go and repair. Rinse and repeat. Same thing against vehicles with chain guns. You can afford to take some damage cause you will be able to repair and head out again.

Lesson 2: When the skeets drop down out of the sky, you're fucked ;)
