I'm in no way supporting this subject matter on this public forum due to the fact of the (obvious) sensitivity of pirating software / hardware / anything on this site... it is just i want to try to get my facts straight.
I've heard you are able to burn dvds on a cdrw disc drive. Is there any truths in this? I told the guy it wouldn't make sense... but now he has me wondering.
Thanks

I think they make DVD burners for a reason. ;) You can't burn a DVD on a CD-RW...

Nah, I tried to burn some porn onto a CD-RW and it didn't work. Like Powdahound said, they make DVD-Burners for a reason. ;)

Well u can make fake DvDs kinda, you can compress a movie enough to put it on a normal CD but not sure if any DvD players will read it properly.

Just get a mac with a DVD burner. You won't regret it. Now remember kids, Bill Gates is the devil.

You'll regret it when you find the receipt, and realize that there are no good games for mac. :) Not to mention IE for mac sucks... I still don't see a single reason to use a mac (and I've logged many hours on a "good" mac at school. dual 1ghz cpu, 1gig ram, etc).
