Hopefully soon, the dev team is working real hard right now to bring us somthing good. I think it will be worth the wait :)

i don't get it. the internal beta seems to be running perfectly fine. what's with the delay with private beta or even open beta?

THere is always more to do :)

They dont want to give us beta in a state where the servers or the game crashes every 20 mins (just an example hehe) people will get frustrated as hell - they want to give it to us in the best shape they can provide it. So that the bugs arent huge :)

I would rather the lucky few that get into beta worry about smaller bugs then word leaking out the game is "int heir opinion" still in Alpha. That sort of word of mouth can kill a game.

Do you get a free copy of the game when you beta test? or do they make you buy it?

They haven't sent anything, Smokey said they would post on the official boards (and i'm sure he'll come post it here too :p) when they do.

And why would they give you a free copy of the game when you beta test? Beta testing is only playing an early version of the game so they can't give you a full copy and once you finish the beta and it goes gold they won't give you a copy either. You'll have to buy it like the rest of us. :)
