Okay, I'm just gonna toss out a few ideas for changes to the current implants.

Second wind:
Change SW from a poor self-resurrection device into a stamina battery. It holds 50 stamina. You could do this two ways: Either 1) just tack on 50 to the stamina maximum (Easy) or 2) make it into a manually activated implant that dumps up to 50 stamina into your pool when you hit the button for it. Any stamina gain once you reach 100 would go into the battery of 50 for manual use at a later point.

Advanced Targeting:
My suggestion for this (which has been said before more than once by other people) is that it is combined with the range magnifier. It would only use up stamina when you are using zoom levels the weapon you are holding doesn't have.

Silent run:
A) noiseless to turn on.
When on:
B) makes drawing weapons/activating implants/using stuff noiseless.
C) Removes (or seriously muffles) sounds of being cloaked (If any)
D) Makes the secondary mode for knives quieter
E) Makes your footsteps silent, of course, and makes you undetectable by the Audio Amplifier implant.

If you want to nerf darklight, here are some 'irregular' ideas:
A) Make it turn your view black & white. Grainy, too.
B) Make it give you "tunnel vision", exaggerated "Binoculars" view, which cuts out your peripheral vision.
C) Make it make you deaf while you're using it.
D) Make it so it HAS to stay activated for at least, say, 2 seconds, before you can turn it off.
E) Make it so you can't see anything BUT cloaked people. Decrease or remove the view-range restrictions. Cloakers appear in empire colors, everything else (Walls, vehicles except the wraith, other people, turrets) are just plain black. People cloaked under an AMS field do not appear.

Here's another idea -
An implant that gives you TWO implant slots. However, having this implant means ALL implants drain double stamina. Variety in exchage for endurance...

Okay, an idea blatantly ripped from Deus Ex:
Put the implants into pairs, you can get ONLY ONE from each pair, that is they are mutually exclusive. You could take up to three implants, as now.
For example:
Darklight OR (Advanced targetting and range magnifier combined)
Regeneration OR personal shield
Audio amplifier OR silent run
Surge OR Melee booster (Yeah, that's screwing with infils!)
Second wind (The one in my suggestion) OR The two-slot implant (In my suggestion)
Note: Since there are 5 sets there, taking the two-slot implant would give you access to all pairs at the cost of double stamina drain and no 'stamina battery' implant.

Since I've added new material for discussion, this post is neither "Postcount ++" or "Shameless self-bump."
So nyeh!

Can't blame you, I think all the Augmentations from that game should be ripped off. Especially Radar Transparancy

I always thought a passive implant giving more backpack room would be sweet.

How about an implant that helps you dodge friendly fire! I would never die then!

I would think Audio Amplifier would be more of a counter to Silent Run, letting the amplified player detect the silent player as if implants were not involved.
