Major Character issue/BUG, help PLEASE!

Well, emerald crashed earlier today when i was on cyssor. That was close to 5 hours ago, and yet, it claims i am still "online" and will not even let me connect to emerald to create a new character.

Anyone had this happen before?? Help me please!!!

I've had this happen a few times with Markov server. What I do is log onto another server then go back or use/create a new character, enter the game, log out and then try my main character again.
