Neat-o. I can't believe I am so out of touch with the passage of time that I didn't realize they were releasing a patch every week, and adding a new major feature at least every two weeks. Man, good thing they told me. I was starting to think it took them a month or more to get things done.

Hmm, maybe we should try that Gal dropping, grenade chucking Gunuku thing. It'd be interesting to see what happens.

Also, I didn't know that they were updating that frequently. Maybe we won't have to wait for Outfit ownership too long. However, I'd still rather it be delayed and come out good rather than have it released right away and be messed up. Sometimes delays can be a good thing. Only sometimes though.

The thing is, MMO's ALWAYS start up bad, Everquest, Anarchy Online, Neocron and Star Wars Galaxies all did to name a few.

It all depends on how long the devs take notice of this and do things about it.

To be honest though, Planetside hasn't had that bad of a start, devs started making and improving things, and sure, stuff went wrong, what do you expect from a game with probably millions of lines of code?

We've had some great things come out, the Skyguard and Liberator, the balance patch, Base Benifits, LLU's and the Lodestar (eventually )

The devs are showing their commitment to this game, and I feel it will have an extremely rewarding future.

There are pretty much weekly patches, which are great, and if they are working the way they said on IGN, then we'll have a great array of weaponary/vehicles to choose from (or just alot more stuff in game, IE - Benifits)

One of the things we'll be adding there is the option for Outfits to upgrade various items around the base. One of those upgrades is a Generator Shield. That Shield can't be brought down unless the base is on the front-line (hackable). Eliminates "ghost gen destruction" for Outfit Owned Bases.

So either way, good things a comin'
