This month PlanetSide Universe turns 10 years old! Hamma has written a brief article about the history of PSU and his experiences over the past 10 years. We have also released Episode 02 of AGN Instant Action! Hamma talks a bit more about his experiences the past ten years.
This month marks a decade of PlanetSide Universe and what an awesome ten years it has been. I haven’t really sat down and written out the history of PSU for all to see, so what better time than now? It was around August 2002 when I first began to think about starting up a new fan site; I had dabbled in fan sites before with Command and Conquer. Little did I realize what a ride it would be when I started thinking about it back then. I built a staff around me consisting of my Outfit members the Dragon Wolves and began the groundwork for the site and servers. Re: A Decade of PlanetSide Universe I'm glad to have been a part of the PSU community for the majority of its lifespan! No other website has held my attention as well as PSU has over the years. There was a time where I, along with others, feared that PSU would have to shut down because of declining visitor counts with the aging of the original PlanetSide. But then came the whispers of PlanetSide 2, and with it the website came back like a phoenix from the ashes! I'm proud to name Hamma and many other members of this community as my friends. To another 10 years of PSU! |

Thanks to Hamma, Jennyboo and all of PSU staff for being so awesome to get us all the information we require and hosting for our crazy discussions, ideas, fanfics and cool screenshots of the day. Not to mention all of the funny radio and now video AGN broadcasts! I'm proud to be a part of this community you helped build! Cheers
