The Auraxis Global Network will be taking to the airwaves again this month for another Community Night! Tune in Saturday November 19th 2011 at 7PM Central Standard Time (US). That is 5PM Pacific and Sunday at 1AM GMT for those overseas. We will have remote video guests as well as participants via TeamSpeak as always. Our topics will include:
- Empire Themes, TR and NC.
- Open discussion on concerns for PlanetSide 2.
- Veteran Bonuses
Additional topics will be added as well if new news is available, suggestions for a topic? Hit up the comment thread and let us know! Recordings will be available later on YouTube and live Audio/Video feeds will be available. Viewers can tune in at live.planetside-universe.com.

Re: AGN Community Night November 19th Any chance to have a discussion during the AGN about what plans SOE have for ps1 between now and ps2 beta starting? Despite wanting to play for the last couple of months, the state of the pops for VS have been awful. Although I adore what you guys and the PS2 dev team are doing with the PS2 coverage (most interactive game development I've ever seen), there doesnt seem to have been any official comment or movement on how ps1 will wind down. It would be so lovely if SOE actually tried to revive the game again, something like the 45 day free period for veterans. I'm sure that any attempt to revive the state of the game would boost interest in PS2 - get some good viral marketing for PS2 going amongst the gamers. |

Re: AGN Community Night November 19th I will be at work again, so have a nice broadcast. I wish I could make it, because I would love to give my input on Veteran Rewards: There should be none. Why does anyone feel they need veteran rewards? It's ridiculous. The game is starting over again. We should all start at square one. We don't deserve anything extra for chosing to play Planetside before. We should just be thanking SOE for making another awesome game. From a marketing standpoint, VR's are not a good idea anyways. Old PS players will return and new players shouldn't feel like they are missing out on something. If Hamma would be obliged, please add my comment to the discussion since I cannot make it. Thank you. |

Re: AGN Community Night November 19th I wouldnt mind a Veteran Reward, but just some little vanity thing, like perhaps a equippable "medal" of some kind in your outfit. Just a little something to show you were there, nothing that would actually effect gameplay. |

Re: AGN Community Night November 19th Yeah, I know they're really busy, but we should definitely think about maybe a community roundtable with one or two of the Devs every 3 months or so... From gameplay perspective, I think this time orbital strikes should be some sort of blanketed artillery bombardment in a moderate area (roughly 100m in diameter); forcing everyone in that area effect to respawn, destroys light vehicles/aircraft and damages heavy ones. |
