We are looking for players and outfits to organize events and fights in PlanetSide 2! We will be broadcasting and commentating large scale fights live on the air on the Auraxis Global Network. Participating players and outfits should be willing to join our TeamSpeak 3 server and talk about their plans for the event and advertise their outfits.
Have a large outfit or alliance or a knack for organizing large events? What we are looking to do is cover large scale events, rather than specific outfits. Want to get involved? Contact Hamma here on the forums the only requirement is it be after 6PM Central Time (US) on Friday, Saturday or Sunday evenings. These requirements may change depending on interest, this is our intial run to see if it will work. See you on Auraxis!

Re: Battles of Auraxis Live I don't like things like this, this is why I never played competetive tribes - because it was a popularity contest amongst clans not a video game. My guys, we just log on and we play. I got 500 people. I don't think I need to talk to anyone for them to get recognition, they are fighting the enemy every day and whether I come into the TS server or not doesn't change that fact. I see this too often - tactical squads and clans get the job done and an epeen master takes credit for it in command chat. I'm seeing the same thing here, XXX with clan YYY has just taken Snake Ravine - when in reality it is another clan and another squad but the guy bullshitting on TS is getting the credit. Anyway what I want to say is that people shouldn't be excluded from GAMING events for not taking part in the POLITICS of a community, which is what I see joining a TS server is all about. |

Re: Battles of Auraxis Live It's not a popularity contest at all, if it was I'd be following one outfit around for 2 hours. In fact if you check out the recording I almost always referred to the sides as their empire names. People coming on TeamSpeak is not politics... it's people reporting fron the front lines war reporter style. e-Sport competitions you have an argument.. but not in this case. |

Re: Battles of Auraxis Live The spectator mode is worthless in its current state. Just look at the pics. 90% of the characters pop up if the camera is 5 m away at max. Therefore most of the time (during aerial shots) we can only imagine how intense the battle is. The current camera guidance is also shit. the camera rumbles like it was packed on a camel. I dont know how the camera is moved but i suspect per mouse and it is not smooth enought that way. For some cheap youtube clips the specator mode in its current state may be sufficent but for professional esport transmission its just /facepalm |

Re: Battles of Auraxis Live Mox, it isn't always like that consistency varies. It's a specific thing SOE must grant. |

Re: Battles of Auraxis Live If you can record some epic battles like the one you had at the bastion like you did last weekend, then I'll be watching . But I guess that's the tricky thing about Planetside, you have to be at the right place at the right time to find a battle that's truly watchable. Sonny |

Re: Battles of Auraxis Live Where was this cam this last weekend? Chaos on Miller almost 24 hours a day during double XP and I had to miss most of it due to the Holiday. It would have been awesome to just park one cam at Scarred Mesa Skydock, another at Rashnu and float a third between the two. I don't know if it was the 2x XP, the "ghost cap" of Indar (and subsequent triple lock) by the TR or the fact that the NC and VS just don't like us having nice things but DAMN did they seem pissed about something. We need more factions that just wanna destroy one another because it all amounts to an incredible weekend. Well played all! |

Re: Battles of Auraxis Live
This cam would for sure have made awesome footage during the "TR Eastern Indar Cap & Hold Prank Event". 2000 players on a single Spec Ops Training Camp hex, that's not a meat grinder, it was more of a "Mount Shoarma". Anyway, if you're in short supply of events to shoot or want to just train your observer cam skills, you can always get in contact with one of the TR outfits on Miller. They have regular mass alliance ops, involving 20+ outfits coordinating and I'm sure they will be willing to help you with this. |
