The SOE Fan Faire starts today in Atlanta, GA. Zat posted a early report:
Day 0.1No PSU staff will be attending as we are all at pretty much opposite ends of the country from ATL and it isn't exactly the cheapest place to fly to. However there will be a large contengent of PlanetSide players represented there. Most notibly a large number of Black Widow Company members will be on board for the event!
Hey all,
The 2006 Atlanta Fan Faire has taken an early start.
Enrico, BigDevDawg, MajorFoobar, and I all arrived Wednesday night. Other SOE employees as well as some early arrivals all hung out at the Champion's Sports Bar tonight. We came across many people who signed up for other games but said, hey I play PlanetSide.
We're looking forward to the coming days.

| Palin | Tee shirts were sent and received for the BWC members attending. We had some tees made up for the SOE staff (devs + Zats + Smedley) as well. I can't wait to hear how it went! |

I will be publishing a full report, complete with pictures. The shirts worked out great. We had seven people wearing BWC t-shirts, and I caught a handful of EQ geeks looking at our gear. I also had two SOE employees (I think both from marketing) ask if they could have a BWC t-shirt. I told him I'd get him one, if he got Planetside at least a full-page article in PC Gamer or something. |
